Great news - our junior cyclist is on the mend
Tom Gilbertson was out with the boys on an away trip to Haslingden when biking down a steep gradient, he succumbed to a low rising manhole cover in Newline.
Tom had surgery last night on his damaged groin - as he fell the brake handle landed in his groin and ripped open his groin - thus an overnight stay in Manchester Royal was required.
He’s back home on the mend so it just shows how much the lads are trying to help the club get through this tricky period.
