Rochdale Cricket Club
Following the government’s announcement last week that pubs et c may open on the 4th July 2020, we are pleased to inform you that we too will be re-opening on that date.
There is a long list of guidelines which we are obliged to follow and as a result we will be unable to operate at full capacity in the building, with only 50 or so people allowed inside at any one time.
We can, though, allow much greater numbers, socially distanced of course, outside.
If you are coming down we ask for your forbearance in the event of rain since entrance to the club will have to be in an orderly fashion, and would advise you to be prepared for having to queue in the rain.
Once inside the club, only go to the bar to order and pay for drinks – no standing in the club is allowed. Members of no more than two households up to a maximum of six people may sit at the same table.
We would like all payments to be made by membership cards/contactless although we realise that they may not be possible in all cases.
Please follow the signs for the toilets and use the hand sanitisers provided before entering and leaving the toilet.
Obviously many members have not paid their 2020 subs. Owing to the circumstances we do not regard any memberships to have lapsed, but we ask that members pay their 2020 subs as soon as possible.
We realise that while no sports can yet be played so ask that playing members pay the social membership portion of their fees - £20 for the time being.
You can pay BACS bank transfer. Our bank details are:
Account name: Rochdale Cricket Lacrosse and Squash Club.
Sort Code: 162934. Account No: 10255666.
Please add your name and card number as your reference.
All non-members attending will be encouraged to join, and membership application forms will be available from a member of staff.
To start with, opening times will be Saturday and Sunday from 2.00pm and Friday from 5.00pm, but these will be under constant review and any changes will be notified.
Guests entering the club will be asked to sign a register which we are obliged to keep for 21 days.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB IF YOU OR ANY OF YOUR FAMILY ARE FEELING UNWELL.
